Sour Diesel

Marketed as sativa. That label describes how it is sold, not its chemistry — the research is clear that it does not predict much.

Also sold as Sour D, Sour Deez.

Across 703 laboratory results, Sour Diesel tested between 14.4% and 23.2% THC, with a median of 18.5%. Most sites print a single number here. The spread is the more useful fact.

Laboratory chemistry

Every figure is a median across real lab results, with the middle 80% of those results beside it. A wide range means the same name tested very differently batch to batch.

Reported genetics

Chemdawg 91 × unknown

disputed

Only the Chemdawg 91 side is broadly agreed. Competing accounts give Original Diesel x DNL, a straight Chemdawg 91 x Massachusetts Super Skunk, or an accidental hermaphrodite pollination. The cross was accidental; AJ is credited with selecting and preserving the East Coast cut, making the real ESD a clone preservation rather than a bred line.

Sources

Where two sources cover the same analyte, the figure above is pooled over their combined samples rather than averaged — a median of two medians is not a median. Each source's own sample count is shown in the table.

Anything unwanted?

Asked every time, alongside the rest. A strain page that lists what something is good for and stays silent here is an advertisement, not data.
